On August 21, Brooke Churchich, Sue Churchich, Laurie Farrell, Ashley Fischer, Madison McLellan, Amy Milhorne, Maggie Moorhead, Lauren Piscatelli and Alexis Smith set the U.S. Women’s Record for Largest Head-Up Formation Skydive with a 9-way at Skydive Carolina in Chester, South Carolina. Not wanting to stop there, the women added a man—Andrew Jones—and set the general state head-up record with a 10-way later in the day. Daniel Schiermeyer flew video for both groups, and Korissa Bomba, Christina Horner and Lucia Mayer judged the event.
