The U.S. Parachute Team Trust Fund was established in 1987 as a trust to support each U.S. Parachute Team that competes at World Championships. Donations go into the trust to help it continue to grow; only the interest earned may be allocated to the U.S. Team. The IRS designates the TTF as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and donations are tax-deductible.
The member-supported Airport Access and Defense Fund helps safeguard skydiving's rights to be free from unnecessary government burden and to access the nation's airspace and federally funded airports. Donations to the AAD Fund are not tax-deductible.
Each designated U.S. Parachute Team may raise funds to support its needs in preparation for a World Championship. Donations are for use by the U.S. Team, and any unspent money passes on to the next U.S. Team. The IRS designates the U.S. Parachute Team as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and donations are tax-deductible.
Donations to the USPA General Fund go directly to USPA to support regular operations and programs of the association. Donations are not tax-deductible.
Donations to the U.S. Skydiving Safety Foundation go toward USPA Board of Directors-approved skydiving safety-related initiatives. This fund supplements USPA programs that USPA's Safety & Training Department conducts. The IRS designates the Skydiving Safety Foundation as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and donations are tax-deductible.
